So… I have not sewed a thing at all this week. It’s horrible. HORRIBLE. I am itching to sew… it’s a horrible feeling. Since I’ve not sewn anything I really don’t have much to share. Except when I decided to write this I took a couple pictures of my sewing room in it’s current sad and lonely state.

We have family coming, which I’ve known about for some time, but of course I wait til this week to get the house in order. And since I spend a ton of time sewing… well housework usually gets neglected. So I’ve been trying to clean and organize and get all the shopping done this week.

Printing, printing, printing printing “Express Your Love” pattern

I decided I want to make the Express Your Love quilt from the Free Motion Quilting Project {link above}. Not sure how I’m going to go about it, but I really want to do it. Just one more thing on my “want to do in 2013” list.

Above is that pattern I told you about. Blah. I did get an email back with corrected directions. But I have already cut everything so I’m just going to go forward and make it my own and do it my own way.

Wouldn’t you know I went thru all the trouble {okay, it was no trouble at all actually} of making myself a W.I.P. bag specifically because I had a doctor’s appointment, then I went and left the stuff at home!!! Argghhh! Oh well. The doctor’s appointment went well I guess, and there wasn’t a whole lot of waiting, which was a nice surprise, so I wouldn’t have gotten much sewing done anyway.

Hopefully I get something done soon…. I hate not sewing anything. What about you? Did you get any sewing done this week?

  I bought it in the local store. So far no problems. Comes with quilting foot, the extension table and walking foot with guide and 1/4″ foot. I almost never take the large plate off.
  
  I’m trying to be nice to it. My last one went two years before it died, but it didn’t really die… it just needed to be brought somewhere and oiled… but husband thought he could do that himself… LOL Didn’t work out so well
  
  The embroidery is SMALL though… so don’t buy it for those letters.
